The Tour of 1812 - Vermont & NY

Got down to Vermont last weekend for the Tour of 1812 organized by Matt from MadRiverMotorCo. had a great time riding some of the great twisty roads in Vermont and upstate NY around Lake Champlain, renewing friendships and starting new ones, and hanging with some of the coolest real bikers in the Northeast. Here are some pics:

Jeff's Shovelhead, which we only finished a week before the tour, but it ran like a friggin' freight train:

Alex's Brat-style sporty (which we finsihed last year - we are now working on a shovelhead for Alex - watch this space!)

Rob on the Panhead we finished two years ago (notice the mud from a bit of "off-roading" in Vermont!)

FARGO PROGRESSION

Finally got a motor in the shop truck and got her painted up just in time for the Ottawa swap. I love driving this thing almost as much as Remi and Rob like instagramming about it!

WHAT WE DID FRIDAY ON THE SPORTY CHOP

Chad and  "C.F." Rob were both in Yesterday to give us a hand putting the Ledsled hardtail sporty  back together.  Chad did his first metal flake paint job on his own tins. Really not too bad for a first try!
We also managed to put the top end back together on Robs 53 Panhead. She fired 2nd kick! Here's some pics.

MINI FLAT FENDER

COBRA SEAT PAN

This is by far the most simple pan to build. No fancy tools...paper, marker, angle grinder and a good sturdy knee and vise to make the bend.

Went down to N.J. this weekend for the annual unfinished bike show at 47 Industries.
Met a ton of cool people, and saw some great bikes! Looking forward to the next time I can get down to an event with this crew!
